Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Train-the-Trainer expert to lead the C&F technician development program across Brandt’s dealerships. You will design, deliver, and evaluate instruction for repair, maintenance, and operation of heavy equipment, coordinating with OEMs and internal teams.

The role requires strong instructional skills, collaborative leadership, and the ability to travel within North America to support programs and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Journeyman in the heavy duty equipment technician trade or equivalent.
• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman preferred.
• Strong instructional delivery and communication skills.
• Ability to travel freely within North America.

Responsibilities

• Assess the development needs of Brandt’s C&F service technicians.
• Identify sources and develop instructional materials for repair, overhaul, and maintenance.
• Implement the development program and coordinate scheduling and delivery.
• Monitor OEM training metrics (e.g., John Deere certifications) and report results.
• Align employee development with quality, LEAN, health and safety goals.
• Contribute to technician development paths, plans, and schedules.
• Deliver training as a Certified Dealer Instructor or SME.
• Create and maintain curriculum, course outlines, and evaluations.
• Use Brandtnet and MS Office to manage materials and presentations.
• Coordinate training delivery with Service Managers and Training staff.
• Ensure pre-requisites, enrolments, and completions are tracked.
• Issue Certificates of Completion and recognise program achievements.
• Collaborate with OEMs on training resources and material development.
