Job summary

Redhead Equipment Ltd. is seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Service Technician at our Prince Albert location to inspect, diagnose, repair and service equipment in the service shop.

Certification is required, with consideration for related dealership experience. Ideal candidates have journeyperson trade training in Heavy Duty or Agriculture Equipment, with mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills and the ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson trade certification required; equivalents may be considered.
• Experience in heavy equipment service is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose mechanically and electronically with OEM tools.
• Strong reading of hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service equipment in the shop.
• Perform preventive maintenance and testing.
• Collaborate with team to deliver quality workmanship.
• Maintain a safe work environment and document work.

Redhead Equipment company has an exciting career opportunity for a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Service Technician at our Prince Albert branch.

This position is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of equipment at our service shop. Journey person certification is required, however those with similar experience at a dealership will be considered.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Journeyperson trade training in Heavy Duty or Agriculture Equipment, Truck and Transport, Automotive or similar trade experience would be an asset.
• May consider other Journeyperson certificates like welding and millwright
• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs
• Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics
