Job summary

Supreme International is seeking a hands-on Heavy Duty Mechanic in Wetaskiwin, AB to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment. This full-time role supports operations across our Alberta facility with an emphasis on reliability and uptime.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in heavy‑duty repair, strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, and can use a range of diagnostic tools. CDL is a plus, and eligibility for safety‑sensitive work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy-duty equipment repair experience.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections on heavy-duty machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake adjustments, and fluid replacements.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance work.
