Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, including portable backpack vacuums.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines as directed.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Spot clean carpets and rugs daily; shampoo when directed.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and high surfaces as needed.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Report building defects to supervisors.
• Empty trash and replace liners daily.
• Clear entrances; snow removal as directed.
• Perform periodic tasks such as high dusting and wall washing.
• Any other duties as assigned.
