Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Regina is seeking a construction estimator to review drawings, tender documents, and develop detailed cost estimates. You will prepare quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and Agtek, and develop bid summaries and proposals to support project pursuits.

Collaborating with project teams, you will prepare change orders, evaluate subcontractor pricing, and analyze costs across multiple bids, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction estimating is an asset; no minimum experience requirement.
• Knowledge of earthworks, underground utilities, grading, and site development.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Agtek, Excel, or similar estimating tools is an asset.
• Construction industry experience, a Technology Diploma, or an Engineering Degree is considered an asset.
