Job summary

University of Alberta is seeking a Heating Plant Operator II to assist the Heating Plant Shift Supervisor in safe, efficient operation of plant equipment producing electricity, steam, demineralized water, and compressed air for the campus, hospital facilities, and other customers.

The position is open to internal and external applicants, with the position functioning on a primarily on-site basis at North Campus, Edmonton.

Responsibilities

• The Heating Plant Operator II assists the Heating Plant Shift Supervisor in the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment involved in producing electricity, steam, demineralized water, and compressed air supplied to the University of Alberta campus, surrounding hospital facilities and other customers.

Job description

This position has a term length of 13.5 months.

Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.
