Job summary

The University of Alberta Careers is seeking a Heating Plant Operator II to assist the Heating Plant Shift Supervisor in safely and efficiently operating plant equipment that produces electricity, steam, demineralized water, and compressed air for the University of Alberta campus, surrounding hospital facilities and other customers.

Location is in-person at North Campus, Edmonton. The position supports campus operations and is offered for a 13.5-month term, with work expected on site in Edmonton.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Heating Plant Shift Supervisor in the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment responsible for producing electricity, steam, demineralized water and compressed air supplied to the University of Alberta campus, surrounding hospital facilities and other customers.
