Martket Textile is growing, and we’re hiring skilled Heat Press Machine Operators to join our Vancouver-based production and decoration team. This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, modern facility equipped with advanced automation machinery, decorating a variety of products including apparel, bags, and other textiles. You’ll collaborate closely with the production team to meet quality standards and deadlines in a fast-paced, organized environment, handling a mix of in-house orders and contract decoration services for a diverse group of manufacturers and retail brand partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heat press machines to transfer designs onto products according to specifications
• Prepare materials for pressing, including arranging and positioning items on the press
• Adjust machine settings, such as temperature and pressure, to ensure optimal results
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of heat press machines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heat Press Machine Operator or similar role
• Experience in the garment printing, or promotional products industry is an asset
• Familiarity with heat press machines and related equipment
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20-30 pounds
