Job description

We are seeking a full-time, permanentAudiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialistto for a new clinic opening inMississauga, ON (Meadowvale area in North West Mississauga).

Key information:

  • Onsite position at a new HearCANADA clinic opening in Meadowvale area in North West Mississauga
  • The clinic is expected to open Summer / early Fall 2025. This position can start as soon as possible for training purposes which will take place at nearby clinics.
  • Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Some local travel will be required (mileage paid) for events and networking

What you will do:

  • Support the opening of our new clinic by nurturing local partnerships (with support from our marketing team) and clinic set up
  • Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
  • Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
  • Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls

What we are looking for:

  • Completion of arecognized HIS or AUD program
  • Valid registration with the governing body and ability to work independently without restriction
  • Direct experience working as an HIS or AUD is preferred, though new grads with supervised experience are welcome to apply
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills in English; bilingualism in a second language would be an asset, though not a requirement
  • Professionalism with the ability to handle sensitive information and keep detailed patient records
  • Experience with Widex or Signia products is a definite asset
