Position

We are growing and searching for a Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team at our Barrie North HearCANADA clinic! This is a permanent, full-time position with typical hours of work Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time.

Role

As a Hearing Care Professional with HearCANADA, you are passionate about the hearing healthcare of our clients. You will provide standardized hearing evaluations, deliver a high standard of client care, make product recommendations, educate on product usage and features, and follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met.

What you will do
  • Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing a variety of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
  • Stay abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
  • Build relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
  • Collaborate with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
What we are looking for
  • A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
  • Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registrant of CASLPO or AHIP in good standing
  • Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
  • An excellent communicator who can establish a professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members
  • Comfortable making product and service recommendations to clients and providing patient-centric education to ensure product adoption
  • Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be a definite asset, though not required
