About The Role

We are seeking Health Care Workers to join our dedicated medical team. Applications are welcome from qualified Healthcare Workers interested in positions within our Aged Care Services located in Penshurst, Coleraine, the Grange, and the Birches in Hamilton.

The successful candidates will provide high-standard services supporting patients and residents to achieve maximum independence, tailored to their individual care plans and preferences. The role involves assisting residents in maintaining independence and delivering daily care with a person-centred approach, following individual care plans.

Hours include shift work, weekends, and public holidays.

WDHS Aged Care Services

Penshurst Nursing Home: Provides permanent accommodation for 19 residents, offering nursing care to the frail, elderly, and disabled. It features shared and single rooms in a comfortable, dignified environment.

Kolor Lodge Hostel: Part of Penshurst District Health Service, offering permanent and respite care for 10 residents with low-level care needs.

Coleraine: Offers permanent and respite care, with facilities including Wannon Court Hostel (39 beds) and Valley View Nursing Home (12 residents), providing nursing care to the elderly and disabled.

The Grange Residential Care Services: Provides permanent and respite care for 50 residents, offering nursing care.

The Birches: Offers permanent and respite care for 44 residents, including 1 Sub-Acute Palliative Care bed.
