Job summary

Oak Valley Health in Markham, Ontario is seeking a Recruitment Assistant to join our Recruitment Team. You will support posting and updating job postings, screen applications, schedule interviews, support selection panels, conduct reference checks and prepare offers of employment.

Working closely with Recruitment Specialists, you will provide information to applicants, deliver administrative support, assist with job fairs and circuit interviews, and participate in other HR initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS is preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Post and update job postings and interview questions.
• Screen applications and schedule interviews.
• Support selection panels and conduct reference checks.
• Prepare offers of employment and provide information to applicants.
