Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking friendly and confident Security Professionals to work at healthcare facilities in Red Deer and surrounding areas, including hospitals and clinics. The role features a 7 on, 7 off rotation (days and nights) and focuses on access control, incident response, and patient safety.

We emphasize proactive risk minimization, 24-hour manager support, and opportunities to match personal lifestyles with suitable sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C certification required.
• Valid Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control in/out of the facility, as well as within restricted areas of the facility.
• Monitor and respond to incidents identified around property, including on cameras.
• Conduct patrols of the facility, monitoring for risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and general security breaches.
• Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
• Investigate and report any irregularities that are identified through the course of your duties.
• Monitor patient safety, documenting and reporting incidents as required.
