Job summary

Paladin Security's Healthcare Division in Alberta is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Security Guard. You will support staff, visitors, and patients with access control, patrol facilities, and respond to alarms across hospital and care sites.

Role requires strong communication, de-escalation skills, and a valid security license. 4 on/4 off shifts (0700–1900 or 1900–0700) with on-call base rate and site-specific pay, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C certification required.
• Valid Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control in/out of the facility.
• Monitor and respond to incidents around property and on cameras.
• Patrol facility to identify risks and breaches.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Investigate and report irregularities.
• Monitor patient safety and document incidents.
