Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare in Vaughan is seeking a Client Scheduling Coordinator to bridge patients, families and healthcare providers. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days in office weekly, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.

You will schedule care providers, handle funder referrals in Procura EMR, and maintain accurate records while delivering excellent customer service. Candidates should have at least two years of healthcare-related customer service, strong communication, and multitasking ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, internet) and EMR systems.
• Willingness to learn scheduling software and processes; French is an asset for Quebec locations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with patients, families, staff and funder organizations.
• Process funder referrals and updates in the EMR (Procura) quickly.
• Review service needs with Supervisors, field staff and patients to plan care.
• Schedule care providers based on client needs, geography, and availability.
• Coordinate caregiver assignments and ensure consistent service delivery.
• Notify patients and staff of initial and ongoing schedules.
• Document records accurately in the EMR and address issues promptly.
