Healthcare Professional (RRT / RN / RPN) (Full-Time - 18 month contract w / benefits) - St. Catharines, ON

About the Role

The Healthcare Professional is responsible for initiating prescribed respiratory therapy in the Medigas office or client home, including assessment, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance. The role also involves promoting Medigas products and services to referral sources, including conducting educational in-services to medical and healthcare communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and monitor prescribed respiratory therapy in clients' homes, including assessments, education, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Deliver and exchange equipment in clients' homes, which may include heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs).
  • Conduct in-home client visits, including long-distance travel.
  • Perform in-office consultations with sleep and oxygen clients.
  • Conduct respiratory equipment in-service training with community partners.
  • Promote products and services to referral sources.
  • Build and maintain high-quality client and referral relationships.
  • Ensure all duties are performed in compliance with safety standards.
  • Support training and development of new employees as needed.
  • Participate in a regular on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Education

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Registered Nurse with current registration, or RPN.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years related experience preferred.
  • Homecare and sales experience is an asset.
