Job summary

A leading healthcare solutions provider is seeking a Healthcare Professional (RRT/RN/LPN) for a full-time role in Saint John, NB. This position involves initiating and monitoring respiratory therapy and requires strong customer service skills, at least 2 years of related experience, and current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Nurse. Position

Healthcare Professional (RRT / RN / LPN) (Full-Time) – Saint John, NB

Responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor prescribed respiratory therapy in clients’ homes, including assessments, education, documentation and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance with therapy
• Delivery and exchange of equipment in clients’ homes, which may include heavy lifting of equipment up to 60 lbs
• In-home client visits may include long-distance travel
• In-office consultations with sleep and oxygen clients (primarily oxygen)
• Conduct respiratory equipment in-service training with various community partners
• Promotion of Medigas products and services to referral sources
• Build and maintain high-quality client and referral relationships
• Perform all job duties in compliance with safety standards
• Support in the training and development of new employees as needed
• Participate in a regular on-call rotation

Qualifications

Education

• Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Registered Nurse with current registration or LPN
