Job summary

The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group (ROHCG) is seeking a procurement professional to manage commodities and services for ROHCG and affiliated entities, aligning purchasing with Ministry of Health guidelines and internal policies.

You will enter orders, coordinate with suppliers and customs, monitor deliveries, support capital item forecasting, and ensure WHMIS compliance with MSDS where applicable. Strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills and healthcare procurement experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Community College in a related discipline in Supply Chain is required.
• Minimum of 3 years Procurement Experience in a Purchasing Environment is required.
• Experience in a Healthcare environment is considered an asset.
• Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Internet and Outlook) is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high pressure environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Procure all commodities and services for ROHCG and its affiliates.
• Enter all orders into the Ross Financial System and create reports as required.
• Secure costing from multiple sources and support tendering as needed.
• Coordinate with Customs Broker to ensure timely clearance and proper documentation.
• Expedite late deliveries and resolve PO/invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with capital budget preparations by sourcing specifications and forecasting costs.
