Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled plumber/steamfitter to join the Facility Maintenance and Operations Department. Under supervision, you will repair and maintain low pressure steam distribution, condensate systems, and hot and chilled water piping, ensuring safe operation of heating, glycol, and medical gas systems.

You will read blueprints, organize work, and operate related equipment while following regulatory standards and the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Must have trades qualifications and registrations as noted.
• Experience with steam, hot/chilled water piping, and related equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret plans and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Read blueprints, plans and specifications.
• Repair and maintain low pressure steam distribution and condensate systems.
• Maintain hot and chilled water piping systems and related equipment.
• Prepare rigging and move equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and collective agreement requirements.
