About the Role

HosTaslky Canada is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Healthcare Multimedia Specialist to join our dynamic communications team. This role blends storytelling, design, and digital strategy to support healthcare education, awareness campaigns, and internal training initiatives. You’ll play a key part in shaping how we communicate complex health information to diverse audiences across Canada.

Success in this position means delivering accessible, engaging, and brand-aligned multimedia content that enhances patient education, strengthens provider engagement, and supports our organizational mission: to improve healthcare communication and outcomes through innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce multimedia assets (videos, animations, infographics, audio, and interactive content) that communicate key healthcare messages clearly and creatively
  • Collaborate with medical experts, project managers, and communications leads to interpret clinical content into digestible formats for public and professional audiences
  • Edit and format existing media for various platforms (web, social media, internal LMS, presentations) ensuring alignment with accessibility standards and brand guidelines
  • Design visual content for digital campaigns, social media, training programs, and public outreach
  • Manage multimedia project timelines, storyboarding, and post-production workflows using modern digital tools
  • Maintain and organize a digital asset library for reuse and compliance
  • Stay current with multimedia trends in healthcare communication, proposing new ideas and formats to enhance engagement
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Multimedia Design, Digital Communications, Health Communication, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience creating multimedia content in a healthcare, education, or nonprofit setting (or equivalent freelance/agency work)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) or comparable tools
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, motion graphics, and/or health-related media
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (AODA, WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Bonus: Bilingualism (English/French), knowledge of medical terminology, or experience with e-learning platforms
