Associated Ambulance, a leading private EMS contractor in Alberta, is seeking an HR Generalist to manage the full HR portfolio for frontline paramedic staff. Reporting to the Manager, Employee Relations & Total Compensation, you will handle onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS duties in a complex healthcare environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, Healthcare Management or equivalent; enrolled in related program
• Minimum of two years of HR experience; healthcare preferred
• Proven track record of delivering top quality customer service
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR trends/challenges
• Ability to communicate and problem solve
• Ability to analyze, synthesize and provide strategic advice
• Strong emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with management to improve work relationships, morale, retention
• Identify issues and recommend solutions; implement process improvements
• Handle daily HR duties: benefits, onboarding/offboarding, policy maintenance
• Support employee relations: requests, performance management, investigations
• Ensure regulatory compliance with policies, contracts and employment standards
• Manage HRIS platform maintenance and updates
• Provide performance and career guidance to supervisors
• Analyze trends to shape workplace programs and policies
• Assist recruitment: job descriptions, postings, interviews, references
• Develop HR policy guidance for leadership related to collective agreements
