Job summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking an Environmental Associate to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for all clients, patients, staff and visitors. The role requires physical tasks such as mopping, buffing floors, wall washing, changing drapes, moving furniture, vacuuming, cleaning and polishing.

Applicants should have at least Grade 10 education, strong English communication, and a proven attendance record. The position is represented by OPSEU and may require work at multiple Mackenzie Health

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 education or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Demonstrates ability to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to perform manual tasks such as mopping, buffing floors, wall washing, changing cubicle/window drapes, moving furniture, vacuuming, cleaning and polishing.
