Job summary

Alberta Health Services (AHS) in Grande Prairie seeks an Environmental Services II (Cleaner/Housekeeper) trained to work in healthcare. You will clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and common areas according to AHS standards.

The role includes a mix of day/evening/nights and weekends with a starting hourly wage between $22.58 and $24.68. Applicants should have Grade 10, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and at least four years of hospital cleaning experience; security

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements; lift up to 25 lbs.
• Proficient with computers and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and clinical areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and restock supplies in bathrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment for floor maintenance.
• Identify hazards and report to supervisor.
