Responsibilities for Healthcare Clinic Security Guard

• Greet and welcome visitors, verify their identity, provide directions, and respond to inquiries in person or over the phone.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals access the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential safety or security risks and respond accordingly.
• Inspect security systems and equipment regularly and report any issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Respond to security incidents, administer first aid when required, and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate any security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with a team of highly skilled security professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective security presence.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment for staff, visitors, and property at all times.
• Perform front desk responsibilities including visitor registration, issuing passes, handling deliveries, and maintaining a professional presence.
• Monitor CCTV systems, de-escalate conflicts or potentially volatile situations using tact and diplomacy, and carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Healthcare Clinic Security guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• High school education or equivalent
• Legally authorize to work in Canada
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
