Position Summary

Are you a visionary healthcare leader ready to make a meaningful impact? Northern Health is seeking a dynamic Health Service Administrator (HSA) to lead the planning, integration, and delivery of high-quality health programs and services in Mackenzie, aligning with strategic priorities across the Northern Interior region.

The HSA provides leadership in the planning, integration, delivery, and evaluation of programs and services for Mackenzie. The role ensures quality care and achievement of strategic goals and objectives of Northern Health, HSDA, and Community Business Plans. The incumbent is a key member of the Senior Management Team of the Northern Interior HSDA, involved in building and implementing operational plans to meet strategic priorities.

Starting salary will be approximately from $128,298 to $160,372, based on education, training, experience, and comparable positions.

Mackenzie & District Hospital and Health Centre is a well-integrated facility with a cohesive care team. It has 5 Acute Care beds and 4 Long-term care beds, providing services such as:

  • Home and Community Care
  • Medical Clinic

The District of Mackenzie is a recreational and industrial hub located on the southern end of Williston Lake, the largest man-made reservoir. With a population of approximately 3,700, Mackenzie is a community rich in history with an eye for the future. Main industries include forestry and mining. The community features one elementary school, one secondary school, and a College of New Caledonia campus.
