Neptune Bulk Terminals (Canada) Ltd., a leading bulk material export facility located on the North Vancouver waterfront, is seeking an individual to join our Health, Safety & Environment team. The Health & Safety Specialist– Asset Management provides health and safety support to Neptune Bulk Terminals’ asset management team, working in partnership with the Health & Safety Manager, Project Managers, and Engineering team. This role ensures that safety is integrated into all phases of project planning and execution, focusing on risk mitigation, compliance, and continuous safety improvement. This individual will oversee contractor safety, pre-job safety setup, and field safety verification during capital projects, shutdowns, and maintenance initiatives. With a high volume of capital projects and maintenance initiatives, this role ensures that safety is proactively integrated into project planning and continuously monitored during execution. The on-site work schedule, with rotational weekend coverage ensures that both pre-job safety planning and weekend project execution are covered, closing gaps in safety oversight. This is a full time 2-year termed, on-site position, reporting to the Health & Safety Manager.

Education
Minimum : Registered Safety Professional and / or post-secondary education in Health and Safety
Preferred : Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent) preferred.
