Your Opportunity: As part of our growth, we seek an HSSE Leader to shape and execute our HSSE strategy, promote safety culture, and ensure safety is integral to our operations. You will develop a proactive safety culture, inspire teams, and collaborate across functions to embed HSSE practices globally. We value a hybrid work environment, with an expectation of in-office presence about three days a week.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement HSSE Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to align HSSE priorities with company goals; build relationships; design solutions that support growth and safety culture; communicate programs effectively; lead and mentor the HSSE team; manage budgets; develop success metrics; support acquisitions; promote and model HSSE culture.
  2. Lead the HSSE Team: Act as a trusted leader and advisor; build a high-performing team; foster innovation and accountability; support team development; oversee resource management, recruitment, and succession planning; promote ethical practices; ensure effective communication and a unified Stantec mindset.

Qualifications

This role involves typical office work, with travel as needed. Other duties may be assigned as required.
