Job summary

Ramudden Global North America is seeking a Health & Safety Manager – Programs & Claims to lead the Health & Safety team in Canada. You will oversee the Programs & Claims function, mentor staff, and ensure consistent execution of health & safety initiatives, claims management, and return-to-work programs.

This 14-month contract covers a long-term leave, effective November 2026, with potential for extension. The role focuses on facilitating safe operations, driving compliance, and delivering

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• CRSP designation or actively pursuing it (asset).
• 5–7 years progressive experience in Health & Safety, with exposure to program development and claims management.
• Experience leading or mentoring staff, either formally or informally.
• Knowledge of WSIB processes, return-to-work programs and Canadian Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Programs & Claims team and set priorities.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and performance feedback for team members.
• Lead execution of annual safety deliverables and ensure program compliance.
• Support ISO 45001 certification efforts for Canadian entities under Ramudden Global North America.
• Prepare quarterly updates to senior leadership on Health & Safety performance.
• Collaborate with Field Health & Safety to align program requirements with operations.
• Maintain compliance for online contractor portals and manage inventory of safety equipment.
