Job summary

CrossSafety is seeking a Health & Safety Principal in Ontario to advise clients on health and safety across construction projects and complex operations. The role emphasizes risk management, design input, and site inspections.

Starting salary ranges from CAD 105,000 to CAD 125,000 per year, with full-time employment and comprehensive benefits including health, pension, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years field experience in construction or a high hazard environment.
• Ontario safety laws knowledge; ability to apply guidelines to projects.
• CRSP, CSP, CHST, CIH or ROH designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on health, safety and environmental issues on projects.
• Advise project teams to identify hazards and implement protective measures.
• Contribute to design, planning, constructability and operability reviews.
• Manage risks to workers and the public on active client sites.
• Perform and document site safety inspections and corrective actions.
• Assist with incident investigations and prepare professional reports.
