Principal Consultant - Headhunter / Recruiter

Are you passionate about workplace safety and enjoy being on the floor, rather than stuck behind a desk? We’re seeking a hands-on HSE Supervisor / Coordinator to join a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

This is a boots-on-the-ground role focused on supporting day-to-day safety and environmental efforts. You’ll work closely with management and leadership to ensure compliance, deliver training, and foster a safety-first culture.

What You’ll Do :

• Support safety programs and daily compliance activities
• Assist with investigations, inspections, and audit prep
• Deliver safety training (WHMIS, PPE, emergency response, etc.)
• Maintain safety documentation, including SDS and JSAs
• Participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings
• Coach employees and provide real-time feedback on the floor
• Help monitor environmental practices (waste, emissions, water)
• Assist with return-to-work and modified duties processes

What You Bring :

2+ years in a safety-related role (ideally in manufacturing or plant settings)

Certificate or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or similar

Knowledge of WorkSafeBC and BC OHS regulations

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset

Ability to balance office tasks with an active floor presence

First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
