Job description

Join us to apply for the Health Care Attendant 6M Medicine role at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

1. Personal Support Worker Certificate from an accredited community college / approved by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities, with a minimum of 625 hours.
2. Current certification in Basic Lifesaver, Basic Rescuer C, or Heartsaver Plus.
3. Recent acute care experience; experience caring for palliative patients is strongly preferred.
4. Ability to perform the full range of duties including patient care as directed within the scope of the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
6. Ability to provide portering and transportation services for patients and supplies.
7. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
8. Satisfactory attendance record.
