Health Care Aide Regular Part Time (WH HCA SYL E4 0.90) AgeCare Walden Heights

Position Overview

As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team to deliver resident care. Under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will utilize your skills to provide safe and comprehensive basic care and services to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide resident-focused care within your full scope of practice.
  2. Monitor residents for any changes in their condition and communicate observations for care planning.
  3. Assist residents with mobility and participate in community activities.
  4. Report unsafe activities or hazards that could harm residents.
Qualifications
  1. Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certification and registration in the Health Care Aide Directory.
  2. Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  4. Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
  5. Ability to multitask and adapt in a demanding environment.
  6. Demonstrates AgeCare values with an empathetic approach.
