Job summary
Qualicare Homecare in Victoria, BC is looking for compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our home care team, assisting clients under the Care Coordinator's supervision.
Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, outings, errands, medication reminders, transfers, companionship, and accurate documentation. A PSW certificate, CPR/First Aid, TB test clearance, travel ability and internet access are required.
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- Ability to travel around location territory.
- Access to Internet/mobile phone.
