Comfort Keepers is looking for a Health Care Aide to join our growing team.

We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults who require assistance or companionship in their homes.

In this position, you will provide non-medical, in-home support, and home management services.

Join a dedicated family committed to providing companionship, personal care, and other health care services for seniors in their own homes.

Both part-time and full-time positions available.

Our Personal Support Workers deliver exceptional in-home and companionship experiences and assist with services outlined in our personalized care plans.

Job Requirements:

• Genuinely concerned about helping people
• Access to a mobile phone (data-enabled preferred) and internet
• HCA Certification or related experience
• Registry number – preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR training
• Current police record check
• Assist in delivering client care and home support services under the healthcare team’s guidance
• Observe and report significant changes in clients’ conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team, clients, and caregivers to maximize independence in ADLs and IADLs
• Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
• Help with household activities like meal prep, shopping, laundry
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle are assets but not required
• Availability to work weekends and some overnight shifts is a plus

Our office serves seniors in Victoria and surrounding communities: Colwood, James Bay, Saanich, and Sidney.

Located at 207-1001 Cloverdale Ave, Victoria, BC V8X 4C9.
