Qualifications

  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.
  • Proof of a negative TB test or Chest X-Ray.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle for community travel.

Your role with clients

As a caring, responsible healthcare team member, you will support clients to be as safe and independent as possible in community settings, helping them live their best lives. Responsibilities include providing personal care in clients' homes, assisting with mobility and light exercises, observing and reporting changes in their condition, and performing light housekeeping as indicated in care plans.

What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Health Care Aide Certificate or Equivalent
  • A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
  • Proof of a negative TB test or Chest X-Ray
  • Commitment to work every other weekend
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle for community travel
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills; additional languages are an asset
  • Reliability and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg)
