Job summary

Bethany Calgary is seeking a Health Care Aide to support residents at our Calgary site. The role focuses on resident-centered activities, documentation, safety, and teamwork to promote dignity and independence for residents.

Requirements include Grade 10 and a Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate, CLHA registration, and ability to work in a demanding environment. This is a part-time, permanent position with day shifts (0645–1315) in Southview.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education and Alberta Health Care Aide certificate.
• Registered with College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
• Previous Health Care Aide experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
• English reading, writing and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Document observations accurately for the RN/LPN in the health care record.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety and emergency procedures.
