Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Health Care Aide at St. Boniface Hospital on a term basis. The position is 0.70 FTE with in-person work and 7.75 hours per day, with annual base hours listed as 2015.

Ideal candidates will have a recognized Health Care Aide certificate, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple demands while functioning as part of a team. The term may end earlier per collective bargaining terms; background checks are required.

The following grandparenting provision will apply in accordance with the Health Care Aide job description dated January 1, 2002:

• Health Care Aides (NA 2's) employed on January 1, 2002 are deemed to satisfy the educational requirements.
• Effective July 1, 2002, SBH employees, who are not in a Health Care Aide (NA 2) position on January 1, 2002, but who had worked as a Health Care Aide at SBH for at least six(6) months within the five(5) years prior to applying for a Health Care Aide job (or such other previous experience as may be acceptable to the Hospital), are deemed to satisfy the educational requirements.
