Shepherd’s Care Foundation in Edmonton, AB, is seeking a Health Care Aide for a casual, on-site role at the Vanguard location. You will assist residents with daily living activities and care, supporting families and contributing to a compassionate environment.

Applicants should be registered with CLHA, able to read/write/speak English, and prepared to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check as part of the onboarding process.

Formación

• Provide support and advocacy to residents and families to ensure quality resident-focused care.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, meals and mobility in a safe, caring manner.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
• Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

Responsabilidades

Health Care Aides provide support, advocacy, and choice to residents and their families to ensure the highest quality of resident focused care. As members of the clinical care team, the Health Care Aide assists residents with the activities of daily living including providing residents with assistance in bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfers in a safe and caring manner.

Consider applying if you are registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA), can read, write, and speak English effectively, and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
