Job summary

Advantage Assist seeks a Health Care Aide to join Garneau Hall Seniors Community in Edmonton, Alberta, with an immediate start and casual hours. The role focuses on compassionate, person-centered care in a warm home-like setting.

You will assist residents with daily living, meals, and mobility, while delivering respectful care and maintaining safety. Training is provided, and the organization values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• HCA certificate from a recognized program is required.
• Active CLHA registration is required.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, respectful care in a home-like setting.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Support mealtimes by serving, feeding and assisting with nutrition.
• Respond to call bells and assist coworkers as needed.
• Foster relationships with residents and families.
• Promote safety and well-being for residents and staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement and uphold confidentiality.
