Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Supply and empty bed pans. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
