Bayshore is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Casual Health Care Aide / Caregiver / Personal Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
  • Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events
  • Administer personal care services according to the care plan directives
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living tailored to their needs
  • Perform specialized procedures with current competency after training
  • Observe and document client conditions; report any changes or unusual events
  • Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices

Shift

  • Casual employment, 7 days a week with varying shifts

Requirements

  • HCA Directory Registration in Alberta
  • Negative TB Test from within the past 6 months
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector from within the past 6 months
  • Experience in Personal Care and homemaking services
  • Strong caregiving principles and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; French is an asset
  • Ability to provide high-quality community care services
  • Physical ability to assist clients with movement, lift up to 23 kgs, squat, bend, stand, and reach
  • Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and automobile
