Bayshore is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Casual Health Care Aide/Caregiver/Personal Support Worker (2) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

This position is based in Lethbridge, AB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
  • Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events
  • Administer personal care services according to the care plan directives
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to their needs
  • Perform specialized procedures with proper training and current competency
  • Observe and document client conditions, report any changes or unusual events
  • Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices

Shift
  • Casual employment in Lethbridge, Alberta
  • Availability from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm on weekdays
  • Availability from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on weekends
Requirements
  • HCA Directory Registration in Alberta
  • Negative TB test within past 6 months
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector within past 6 months
  • Experience in personal care and homemaking services
  • Knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; French is an asset
  • Ability to physically assist clients, lift up to 23 kg, squat, bend, stand, reach
  • Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and vehicle
