Job Bank in Canada is seeking a healthcare auxiliary in a nursing home setting. The role requires a college certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year) and 1 to 7 months of related work experience. You will perform patient care tasks at the facility and assist with daily activities and mobility.

This is a permanent, full-time position with no remote option, located at the workplace where patients are cared for in a nursing home environment.

• Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Bathe, dress and groom patients
• Transport patients between care facilities
• Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
• Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
• Administer first aid in emergencies
