Job summary

Mercer is seeking a Health & Benefits Consultant to join our H&B Consulting team with a base in Montreal, Quebec City, or Ottawa. This hybrid role requires in-office work at least three days per week.

Responsibilities include leading complex client engagements, developing innovative benefits design, and driving renewal strategies while maintaining accountability for revenue and profitability. The ideal candidate has strong sales and marketing abilities and fluency in English and French to serve

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or related field.
• 5+ years' experience with major consulting firms handling large accounts.
• Fellow/AMF license (or pursuing) for actuarial practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead (or co-lead) complex client engagements, including service delivery, renewals, benchmarking, and studies.
• Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies and tools.
• Communicate Mercer positions on industry trends to clients.
• Be accountable for revenue and profitability of client accounts and projects.
• Generate sales by expanding revenues with existing clients and by leading prospecting with new clients.
• Set strategic direction to create demand for new products/services.
