Job summary

Cogir Senior Living’s Briarfield Gardens in Kitchener, ON is seeking a Health and Wellness Manager to lead the clinical program and ensure exceptional resident care. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, participate in care conferences, and develop individualized care plans aligned with regulatory standards.

You will report to the Executive Director and collaborate with regional clinical staff to enhance resident safety, satisfaction, and staff development.

Qualifications

  • Currently registered as a Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience and one (1) year leadership experience.
  • Experience managing a multidisciplinary team in a unionized environment.
  • Experience recruiting and developing nursing staff and delivering personalized clinical support.
  • Strong understanding of budgets and financials to monitor department expenses and ensure care and labor is billed.
  • Knowledge of provincial regulations and program standards; Vulnerable Sector Check within six months.

Responsibilities
