Job description

We are seeking an occupational health and safety advisor to report to the OHS team leader within the Engineering team. Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement best OHS practices, contributing significantly to the achievement of the organization's OHS objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work in a company that prioritizes employee health and safety.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a strategic partner in OHS within the product development team, focusing on electric vehicle development.
  • Advise and support teams in establishing OHS best practices.
  • Participate in planning safety activities and daily OHS program implementation.
  • Establish efficient work methods that reduce OHS risks.
  • Contribute to defining vehicle testing methods.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team committed to innovation.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A recognized safety-related discipline diploma and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • A rigorous approach, initiative, and analytical skills.
  • Good priority management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a changing environment.
  • Project management determination and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Health and safety certification (asset).
  • Bilingualism in English and French; English proficiency is an asset.
  • Technical mechanical or electrical knowledge (asset).
