Job summary

Vector Institute in Toronto is seeking a Manager, Health AI Implementation to lead the operationalization of health AI priorities, oversee funded programs, and support project plans for partnerships, ensuring delivery aligns with Vector’s mission and strategic goals.

The role requires coordinating researchers, engineers, and business teams, building strong relationships with external stakeholders, tracking KPIs, reporting progress to the Director, Health AI Implementation, and guiding multi‑year

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a business or technical field such as computer science, engineering, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in health and/or AI industries with technical project management experience.
• 4+ years leading medium- to large-sized technical implementation projects in health.
• Experience in AI/ML with applied AI or clinical AI adoption.
• Ability to translate technical AI concepts into actionable insights and drive business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute roadmaps for Health AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Vector teams to drive AI adoption.
• Define, monitor, and report on KPIs for health AI programs.
• Report on program progress and provide actionable insights.
• Lead direct reports and cross-functional teams in program delivery.
• Represent Vector at forums and events to foster collaborations.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to advance adoption.
• Identify strategic opportunities, partnerships, and funding for growth.
