$77.00/hr - $91.00/hr

Head Women’s Golf Coach

Priority Application Deadline is February 9, 2025. Position will remain open until filled.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • Coordinate an intercollegiate women’s golf program. The general responsibilities are to organize, direct and administer all aspects of the golf program, including the recruitment of student athletes.
  • Take an active interest in the student athletes’ academic endeavors, practice planning, off season conditioning, scheduling of competitions, and other duties associated with being the head coach.
  • Instruct related courses in golf skills and conditioning.
  • Participate in division and coaches meetings on campus and conference coaches meetings.
  • Maintain an inventory of equipment uses.
  • Complete reports, schedules and grades within established guidelines.
  • The position includes assignments in the evenings and weekends for the women’s golf program and/or teaching assignments.
  • Adjunct teaching opportunities may be available if minimum teaching qualifications are met.


Minimum Qualifications

  • An earned Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of professional experience or any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience. Must have performed at a collegiate level and have coaching experience at the high school level or above.
  • Must be dependable, able to communicate effectively, exercise initiative, poise and good judgement.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.


SALARY

A head coaching stipend is available for in-season pay, with a range of $13,092.68- $15,384.60 per semester. Placement is based on experience. On addition, head coaches receive adjunct pay for courses assigned, with a range of $77.02- $90.50 per hour based applicable adjunct rate. Coaches are also eligible for a $3,706.60 recruiting stipend for off-season duties. This is a part-time, temporary position that does not offer health benefits.
