Position: Soccer Coach

Reports to: Camp Director

Dates: July 7 – August 29, 2025 (7 weeks)

Times: Full Time – Monday to Friday 8:45 am – 3:45 pm

Compensation: Based on experience and certification level

Job Summary

The Soccer Coach will be responsible for instructing and guiding campers of all skill levels, developing lesson plans, leading drills, coaching match play, and maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement lesson plans for all skill levels.
  2. Lead drills and exercises to enhance soccer skills.
  3. Coach during matches and provide feedback.
  4. Maintain equipment and facilities.
  5. Ensure safety and enjoyment for campers.
  6. Communicate with the Camp Director about campers' progress and issues.
Qualifications
  1. Strong soccer background, including playing and coaching experience.
  2. Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels.
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  4. Soccer instructor certification or equivalent.
  5. Willingness to work in a summer camp environment.
Physical Demands
  1. Ability to stand and move for long periods.
  2. Ability to lift and carry equipment.
  3. Ability to bend, reach, and kneel for setup and maintenance.
