About the role

The position is at a tech company. We're searching for a hands-on Head of Talent & People Ops to help us grow our world-class workforce across Engineering, Product, and Go-To-Market.You will be in charge of both talent acquisition and personnel operations throughout the company's key expansion phase.

This is a critical job for someone who understands how to work in fast-paced, early-stage organizations and what it takes to recruit and retain top personnel, including world-class engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale the complete recruitment process, from job creation and sourcing to closure across all functions.
  • Lead mid to senior-level hiring in Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM.
  • Create and maintain organized interview processes to assure timeliness, impartiality, and a high signal.
  • Create a repeatable hiring engine that attracts outstanding people and enables hypergrowth.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on headcount planning, pay strategy, and team structure design.
  • Lead People Operations initiatives like onboarding, performance frameworks, remote culture, and compliance.
  • Implement and manage the HR IT stack and processes for a remote-first team.
  • Serve as a strategic thinking partner for team structure, culture, and scaling concerns.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in talent recruitment or people leadership roles in fast-growing startups
  • A track record of employing outstanding engineers and GTM talent
  • Experience with cutting-edge tools and hiring stack.
  • Strong familiarity with early-stage hiring playbooks and fast-paced environments
  • Fluency in startup organizational architecture, remuneration strategies, and equity standards.
  • Strong project management and communication abilities.
